Programme Overview
As an Apprentice in Level Year 1 at Haval Kempton Park, you will embark on a structured learning journey focused on gaining practical experience in the automotive industry. This role is designed to equip you with foundational knowledge and skills required to thrive in various operational and customer service facets of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in hands-on training sessions that cover vehicle maintenance, repair, and customer interaction.
- Assist qualified technicians in diagnosing vehicle issues and performing repairs under guidance.
- Maintain the workshop environment, ensuring tools and equipment are organized and in good working order.
- Support team members by engaging in inventory management, including tracking parts and supplies.
- Develop customer service skills by interacting with clients and providing updates on vehicle status.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Engage in ongoing training sessions and enhance automotive knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and participating in team efforts.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Interest in automotive technology and a passion for developing skills in this field.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective customer interaction.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a practical setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not essential.
