Absa invites graduates to apply for the 2025 ABSA CSI Trust Graduate Historical Debt Relief Intervention. This programme assists graduates with unpaid historical student debt, enabling them to receive their qualifications and enter the job market.
Programme Benefits
- Funding to clear outstanding student debt for those who have completed their studies but cannot obtain certificates due to unpaid fees.
- Support in transitioning to employment by partnering with the Youth Employment Service (YES), connecting graduates to real work opportunities.
- Managed by the Feenix Trust to facilitate debt clearance effectively.

Eligibility Requirements
- South African citizens only.
- Completed a degree in the eligible fields and not currently studying.
- Studied at one of the specified public universities in South Africa.
- Unable to graduate due to outstanding fees.
- Currently unemployed with a total household income of less than R700,000 per annum.
