Learnership Programme Overview
Cementation Africa Training Academy invites qualified candidates referred by a current employee to apply for the 18.2 Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Learnership Programme (NQF Level 2) for 2025/2026. This six-month programme aims to broaden learners' understanding of HSE concepts and practices, enabling them to manage health and safety issues effectively in the workplace.
Programme Details
- Focus on Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Development of key safety and health management skills.
- Fosters responsibility and independent management in workplace safety.
- Provides articulation, recognition, and mobility in the dynamic environment of HSE.
- Aids in identifying and evaluating occupational safety and health factors.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- South African citizen
- Currently unemployed
- Good communication skills in English
- Medically fit for underground mining environment
- No criminal record
- Must not be pregnant (for female candidates)
- Zero tolerance to alcohol and illegal substances
- Must bear travel expenses to Carletonville Training Academy every second week
- Not enrolled in another learnership
