The Western Cape Government is inviting students to apply for the Masakh’iSizwe Bursary Programme, for the 2026 academic year.
Opportunity Overview
- Bursaries are awarded for Degree or Diploma programs in the Transport, Engineering and Built Environment sector.
- Eligible fields include Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and more.
- Participating universities: University of Cape Town (UCT), Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), Stellenbosch University (SU).
- Provides cover for tuition fees, textbooks, study materials, accommodation, and transport.
Eligibility Requirements
- South African citizens who are either in Matric or have completed Matric.
- Students must be studying or intend to study full-time at UCT, CPUT, or SU in 2026.
- Preference for financially disadvantaged, female students, students with disabilities, and those from the Western Cape.
