The Sasol Foundation is inviting applications for its 2027 bursary programme. This programme offers all-inclusive undergraduate bursaries to academically talented learners and students from Sasol's local communities, children of Sasol employees, and children of Sasol Khanyisa shareholders. The bursaries aim to expand access to tertiary education for learners and students from low-income and missing middle households. Applications for the 2027 intake will be open from 1 August to 23 August 2026.
The Sasol Foundation offers comprehensive bursaries for full-time undergraduate degrees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers. Priority is given to degrees aligned with future capabilities like the Green Economy and Digitalisation, covering disciplines such as Engineering, Information Technology, Data Sciences, Agricultural Science, Environmental Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Construction & Manufacturing, among others.
These bursaries are dedicated to qualifying students from Sasol's fence-line communities, children of Sasol Khanyisa shareholders, and children of Sasol employees who wish to pursue non-STEM qualifications.
Note: Postgraduate bursaries will not be available for the forthcoming academic year.
