The Willowton Group invites students to apply for their bursary programme for the 2026 academic year. This opportunity is targeted at students with financial need who are unable to afford their tertiary studies. The bursary covers all fields of study and will support expenses such as registration fees, tuition fees, textbooks, a laptop, and a monthly stipend.
Eligibility Requirements
- South African citizenship is required.
- Applicants must reside in the province from which they are applying.
- Must fit into one of the following categories: currently in Matric, currently studying at a tertiary institution, or previously sponsored by Willowton/ SANZAF.
- Proven financial need is essential.
- Applications to NSFAS must be completed prior to applying for this bursary.
- Must study or intend to study at a recognized University, University of Technology or TVET College in South Africa.
- A minimum of 65% must be achieved in each subject/module.
- Applicants must come from a previously disadvantaged background and meet the requirements of SANZAF.
Selection Process
- The Bursary Committee will assess and shortlist candidates.
- Shortlisted candidates will attend an interview.
- Feedback will be provided via regional offices.
- Selected candidates will receive a Confirmation of Pledge letter.
- Bursary payments will be made directly to the institution.
