Programme Overview
The International Cybersecurity Early Careers Programme aims to develop the next generation of cybersecurity professionals across Anglo American's global operations. This 12-month learnership in South Africa combines structured learning with practical experience alongside cybersecurity professionals.
Participants will gain exposure to global cybersecurity operations, learning about cyber risk management, security incidents response, digital evidence investigation, and promoting safer online behaviors.

Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Learner, you'll support the Cybersecurity Operations team and participate in the Early Careers Programme. Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and identifying potential security threats.
- Analyzing security alerts and incidents.
- Conducting investigations of suspicious activities.
- Gathering and analyzing threat intelligence.
- Practicing evidence collection and analysis.
- Supporting user awareness initiatives for safer online behaviors.
- Participating in structured training and preparing for certifications.
Requirements
To qualify, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have completed Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science.
- Have a strong interest in cybersecurity.
- Possess good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Be proficient in written and spoken English.
