About the Learnership
Coca-Cola is inviting unemployed South African youth to apply for Visual Merchandiser Learnerships, offering practical exposure within the retail and FMCG environment. The programme provides structured, work-based learning that equips participants with commercial and practical skills to service customers and support merchandising standards.
The role interacts with:
- Sales Team Members: To collaborate on daily tasks and share knowledge.
- Sales Account Developer: To receive guidance, training, and feedback on performance and safety protocols.
- Consumers: To understand consumer preferences and behaviours and inform sales strategies.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute daily call schedules across assigned outlets.
- Implement visual merchandising standards and in-store displays.
- Ensure product quality, availability, and visibility.
- Support customers in placing orders through the MyCCBA platform.
- Assist in promotional activities.
- Provide relief support as needed.
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Maths or Maths Literacy and English.
- South African Citizen, aged 18 to 35.
- Available to work six days a week; no criminal or adverse credit record.
- Must consent to criminal, ID, and qualification verification.
- Driver's Licence advantageous.
- Unemployed and not enrolled in any other learnership or full-time study.
- Post-matric qualification in Sales & Marketing.
