The Free State Office of the Premier is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme for the 2026 academic year. This initiative aims to enhance the province's workforce by supporting students in fields with scarce and critical skills, thereby contributing to the provincial and national economy.

- Bachelor of Community Development
- Bachelor / Post Graduate Diploma / Honours of Accounting
- Bachelor Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiography, Pharmacy, Nursing
- Bachelor of Data Science / Data Analytics / Financial Analytics / Investment Management / Business Analytics
- Bachelor of Economics / Econometrics / Developmental Studies
- Masters in Clinical Psychology
- MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine)
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen residing in the Free State province
- Between 18 and 35 years of age
- Current Matric students or those who have completed Matric
- Household income less than R600,000 per annum
- No existing bursary or sponsorship
- Accepted to study full-time at a recognised and accredited Higher Education Institution in South Africa
- Preference given to financially needy students with a strong academic record
- Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
