Programme Overview
Renault Multifranchise (Renault Fourways) currently has an open position for an Apprentice Level 1. This role, reporting to the Manager: Service, is ideal for individuals who have a knack for repairing vehicles and who aspire to become a Motor Mechanic Technician. The position involves an Apprentice Training Programme lasting a maximum of three years.
Responsibilities
- Assist with vehicle repairs under the guidance of a Technician
- Remove/replace parts or units from vehicles
- Jack up vehicles and place trestles
- Lubricate and change oils (under supervision) as per specifications
- Remove and replace wheels, fit air and oil filters
- Assist with various vehicle repairs and maintain housekeeping
- Remove and fit batteries
- Attend prescribed technical or level courses
- Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure work area cleanliness
- Follow safety rules
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Pure Maths and Physical Science
- Preference for candidates with a Technical Matric
- A valid Driver's License (advantageous)
- Clear Criminal Record
- Technical skills (advantageous)
- Good customer orientation and a team player
