Learnership Overview
NECSA is offering a Generic Management Learnership aimed at equipping learners with the necessary knowledge, skills, and applied competence to succeed in a management environment. This programme provides opportunities for learners to explore and transfer between various management specialisations while building a strong foundation in core management principles.
Key Objectives Include:
- Skill Development: Equip unemployed individuals with essential, transferable workplace skills that are applicable across various industries, such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
- Career Guidance: Support learners in identifying suitable career paths, setting realistic goals, and understanding current job market demands.
- Job Readiness: Enhance employability by developing practical skills such as CV writing, interview preparation, and professional workplace behaviour.
- Motivation and Confidence: Build self-confidence and encourage a proactive mindset to help individuals actively seek and sustain employment.
Purpose of the Learnership
- Develop competence in a range of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values.
- Learn to initiate, develop, implement, and evaluate operational strategies, projects, and action plans.
- Recommend improvements within teams or units to enhance overall effectiveness.
- Monitor and measure performance to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
- Apply continuous and innovative improvement initiatives, including improving customer satisfaction.
- Build leadership skills by effectively managing teams and individuals.
- Promote collaboration and teamwork to improve unit performance.
- Develop strong communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements
- Unemployed candidates between the ages of 18 and 35 with a Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
- South African citizenship with no criminal record.
- Willingness to undergo written assessment tests and/or interviews as part of the selection process.
Skills and Competencies
- Good interpersonal skills, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ambitious, diligent, and willing to learn.
