The successful candidate will actively engage in cybersecurity structures and forums to foster collective cyber defense and enable swift responses to incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate collaboration within the financial industry to strengthen cybersecurity resilience.
- Drive the Operational Security Situational Awareness initiative, managing virtual meetings and conferences.
- Coordinate cybersecurity initiatives across the South African Reserve Bank's departments.
- Develop and maintain the SARB Group Cyber Resilience Framework.
- Ensure compliance with the SARB Group's Cybersecurity Responsible Disclosure Policy.
- Collaborate with state agencies during incidents as part of the National Incident Management Centre structure.
Requirements
- Honours degree (NQF 8) in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field.
- Advanced security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
- 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity management, preferably in the financial sector.
- Skills include cybersecurity governance, risk management, business continuity management, and effective communication.
