Responsibilities
- Manage office records, filing systems, and correspondence
- Prepare reports, letters, and official documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing mails
- Communicate professionally with the public, clients, and internal staff
- Respond to queries, complaints, and requests for information
- Maintain excellent customer service standards
- Assist in scheduling and planning meetings
- Take minutes during meetings
- Monitor progress of departmental projects and programmes
- Align work with public service policies and procedures
- Follow government regulations and ethical standards
- Maintain integrity and accountability in all tasks
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and office systems
- Capture data and maintain electronic records
- Prepare presentations and spreadsheets
Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must not be employed.
- Must not be enrolled in any institution for a qualification or registered in any Learnership Programme.
- Cannot be in possession of a completed post-matric qualification; those with completed post-matric qualifications should not apply.
- Must have a Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics (Minimum level 4 or higher)/ Maths Literacy (Minimum Level 5 or higher) with Physical Science or Business Studies (Minimum Level 4 or higher).
- Applicants must be South African citizens with a valid SA ID, aged between 18 and 35 years.
