StudyTrust, on behalf of Amazon, invites current undergraduate students who will in 2025 be entering their final year of a three-year degree or the third year of a four-year degree, to apply for this bursary. This opportunity is ideal for students planning to pursue an Honours degree in 2026 after completing an internship, with a strong interest in software development engineering.

What the Bursary Covers
The Amazon Bursary will cover the costs of:
- Tuition
- Residence/private accommodation
- Subsistence
- Stationery and books
- A personal computer
- Transport
Obligations
- Complete an internship during summer vacation and participate in training opportunities at Amazon.
- Commit to a full-time permanent role if an offer is extended following the internship assessment.
- Work in the full-time role for the equivalent number of years funded.
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently studying any of the specified fields of study
- In the 3rd year of a three-year or four-year undergraduate degree programme in 2025
- Commitment to complete an Honours degree in 2026 for three-year degrees
- Enrollment at South African universities only
- South African citizenship
- An average of 65% and above in current studies
- Clear motivation for Amazon and software development engineering
- Availability for assessment for a full-time role at AWS starting after graduation
