Amazon: Bursaries 2026
StudyTrust, on behalf of Amazon, invites current undergraduate students who will in 2026 be entering their final year of a three-year degree or the third year of a four-year degree, to apply for this bursary. This opportunity is aimed at students with a keen interest in software development engineering and a desire to pursue a career at Amazon.
Eligibility Criteria
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Information Systems. Specializations in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI are also eligible.
- Plan to complete tertiary education up to Honours level (NQF level 8) by the end of 2027.
- Not available for Master’s level students.
- Available to start full-time employment with Amazon in January 2028, conditional upon a job offer post-internship.
- South African citizens studying at South African universities with a 65% average or above.
Obligations
Accepting the bursary requires commitment to a paid internship during summer vacation at Amazon. Candidates must also be open to accepting a permanent role for the duration equal to the years of the bursary received.
