This opportunity is designed for those seeking to become qualified Artisans. Participants will embark on a three-year learning journey, combining classroom instruction and on-the-job training.
The Learnerships Offered:
- Fitter
- Boilermaker Plater
- Rigger
- Earthmoving Mechanic
- Diesel Mechanic
Programme Structure:
- 1st Year: Institutional training at ESTC, Engineering Skills Training Centre.
- 2nd Year: On-the-job training at Mogalakwena Mine.
- 3rd Year: Completion of trade test.
Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics, Physical Science, and English (minimum 40% each).
- Or N2 or higher with all subjects as per discipline requirements.
- Or NCV Level 4 in appropriate trade with a minimum 40% pass in all subjects.
- Must be prepared to work on surface in open-pit areas and possibly work shifts.
- South African citizenship required.
- Relevant psychometric assessment.
