Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA): Learnership Programme 2024
The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) invites applications from unemployed candidates to participate in a twelve-month Learnership Programme for the Financial Year 2024/2025. This programme offers a combination of practical experience, structured work exposure, and accredited learning leading to a qualification certified by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Responsibilities
- Conserving biodiversity on reserves and conservation areas.
- Monitoring and removing invasive vegetation.
- Participating in tasks like fire management, rehabilitation, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Collecting data related to program objectives.
- Promoting environmental education and awareness in the community.
- Completing assignments pertinent to practical experiences on the reserves.
- Attending training and learner support sessions.
Requirements
- Must be unemployed and aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Possession of Grade 12/Matric.
- Applicants must reside in Mpumalanga Province.
- Applicants should not be enrolled in any tertiary institution or any other learnerships.
- Interest in outdoor and practical work is essential.
