Seriti is offering scholarships/bursaries for 2024 to invest in further education initiatives for individuals within their direct communities. The scheme supports top students in obtaining tertiary education at a recognized and registered Higher Education and Training Institution in South Africa.
Applicant Requirements
- Grade 12 learners provisionally accepted for study at a registered Higher Education Training Institution for 2024.
- Current university students studying a Degree/Diploma in any discipline at a registered institution.
- Courses must be accredited, meeting the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) standards from Level 6.
- Preference for students from Pegasus Primary Communities and selection based on academic performance.
- A minimum average of 60% in recent results is required.
- Bridging or foundation programs/courses are not eligible for sponsorship.
Value of Bursary
- Accommodation and meal allowance.
- Book allowance.
- Tuition fees for 2024 (excluding previously failed subjects or outstanding fees).
Terms & Conditions
- Final contract depends on official registration for the 2024 academic year.
- Failed subjects will not be sponsored.
- No obligation for students post-completion of studies.
- Ineligibility for students in bridging or foundation years or who are beneficiaries of other sponsorships.
