The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) is inviting students to apply for their external bursary programme for the 2025 academic year. This opportunity is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students in various fields of study.

Bursary Coverage
- Full Bursaries: Registration fees, tuition fees, study materials and equipment, accommodation, and meals.
- Partial Bursaries: Registration fees, tuition fees, accommodation, and access to a wellness programme.
Bursary allocation will be based on financial need, as determined through a means test, alongside academic performance.
Eligibility Requirements
- South African citizenship
- Age under 35 years
- Completed Matric or currently in Matric
- Full-time enrollment in a recognised and accredited public tertiary institution within South Africa
- Minimum overall average of 70% for Matric students or 60% for university students
- Proven financial need
- No current bursary funding
- Application welcome from students with disabilities
