The Systems Analyst I will work within a systems and integration environment supporting business-critical platforms, partnering closely with development and operations teams to shape how systems connect, scale, and evolve across multiple services.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, specifically Computer Science or Information Systems, is required.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Systems Design and Analysis
- Exposure to complex system integrations
- Strong understanding of development environments (background in software engineering advantageous)
- At least 1–2 years of telco experience (advantageous)
Knowledge
Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of:
- Functional knowledge of the respective area
- Systems analysis methodologies
- Defining functional and non-functional requirements
- Documentation including assistance with drafting documents for technical requirements and training purposes
- SQL (e.g. MySQL and Microsoft SQL)
- API integration (e.g. web services, REST Services, SOAP, etc)

Ideal Qualifications and Experience
Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to Java (advantageous, not mandatory)
Certifications such as AWS are beneficial but not mandatory.
Ideal Experience and Tools
- Jira
- Confluence
- Exposure to automation tools
- Working knowledge of Java and/or C#
Ideal Knowledge
Additional knowledge and understanding that would be advantageous includes:
- ITIL Principles and the application thereof
- Automation tools
- Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
- Project Management and coordination
- Banking systems and business models
- Card Processing
- Best practices for Quality Assurance (QA)
- Jira and Confluence
Where applicable for the functional area, programming and programming languages enabling troubleshooting and escalation to Software Engineers could include: JAVA, C#, Python, Powershell, Postman/SOAP, .NET Frameworks, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
