Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this position is to develop, maintain, and support IT solutions for the South African Reserve Bank Group (SARB Group).
Key Responsibilities
- Define work plans and deliverables with guidance from team leaders or senior developers.
- Conduct analysis and design quality IT solutions based on approved business requirements.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Design and develop AEM solutions, providing support on best practices and efficient use of the platform.
- Deliver quality IT solutions through development, integration, testing, and deployment within agreed timelines.
- Maintain IT solutions to ensure business continuity and adhere to agreed service standards.
- Stay updated with ICT trends to design and develop appropriate IT solutions.
- Mentor and coach team members.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent qualification (NQF 7).
- 5-8 years of experience in an application development and support environment.
- 3-5 years’ experience on digital transformation projects, especially with AEM Forms and/or Sites.
- Proficiency in Java, HTL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various AEM-related technologies.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins, and others.
- Strong analytical skills, decision-making, and communication abilities.
