Overview
The Imfundo Trust Bursary is an initiative by the Old Mutual Investment Group, offering scholarships to students with a keen interest in the investment industry. This bursary is aimed at supporting transformation by funding undergraduate and selected postgraduate degree programmes at chosen universities in South Africa.
Fields of Study Covered
- Business, Commerce, Finance and Management Sciences (first and second year in 2027)
- Computer Science and related qualifications (first and second year in 2027)
- Data Science (first and second year in 2027)
- Climate Studies (postgraduate)
- Engineering (first and second year in 2027)
Selection Criteria
- Open to South African citizens only.
- Applicants in their first year for 2027 must have achieved a minimum of 70% in their mid-year Grade 12 exams, including at least 70% in Mathematics and English FAL or 60% in English HL.
- Applicants in their first year as of 2026 must have an average of 65% or above in their latest exams.
- Preference for applicants from rural and township backgrounds.
