SAICA is inviting students to apply for the Thuthuka Bursary, for the 2027 academic year.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Open to South African citizens who are Black African or Coloured students.
- Candidates must be from disadvantaged backgrounds currently in Matric or who completed Matric within the last 2 years.
- Minimum of 60% in Mathematics (Grade 11).
- Applicants should intend to study towards relevant Chartered Accountancy qualifications at SAICA accredited universities.
- Family income must not exceed R350,000 per annum.
- National Benchmark Tests (NBT) results are required.
What the Bursary Covers
- Tuition, books, meals, residence fees, and accommodation.
- Academic, social, and emotional support.
- Work-readiness and life skills training.
- Access to mentorship by experienced chartered accountants.
