The above-mentioned position exists within our Operations Support: Funeral Service department.
Job Description
We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service skills, to join our Operational Support: Funeral Service team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering funeral contracts, coordinating tender processes, maintaining contract systems and ensuring the accurate management of contracts and agreements to support the effective delivery of operational services.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Ensure that AVBOB is subscribed to the necessary tender platforms
- Prepare Tender Documents for funeral contracts within set timeframes
- Submit tender documents nationally through provincial offices/branches
- Calculate profitable prices for contract funerals
- Maintain current funeral contracts with different institutions
- Prepare quotations for agreements or price increase in current agreements
- Capture all approved prices, contracts/agreements to relevant systems
- Assist to create and update contract circulars and Agent Remuneration documents
- Keep circular register for all circulars within the AVBOB group
- Maintain contract diary to track contracts expiry dates, new agreements/addendums
- Compile monthly reports
- Maintain a high level of stakeholder relations
- Handle queries (system and admin) relating to contracts from all stakeholders
- Liaise with Legal, Debtors, and Salaries departments
- Create agency codes and new agents on BV systems
- Capture and create exhumation quotations
- Adhoc duties
Job Requirements
- 2 - 3 years relevant experience
- Grade 12
- Computer literate, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Knowledge of tenders and tender document preparation
- Costing and pricing skills
- Compliance Management
