Hollywoodbets is seeking two Reconciliation Clerks to join its team in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal. This full-time, onsite role involves ensuring the accuracy and validity of revenue, expenses, deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions across both iBranch and retail operations. The successful candidates will play a critical role in preventing misappropriation of company assets and safeguarding against fraudulent financial reporting.

About the Opportunity
The Reconciliation Clerk will be responsible for performing a wide range of reconciliation and auditing tasks that ensure the integrity of Hollywoodbets' financial operations. Working from the Umhlanga office, the role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Successful candidates will work closely with branches and relevant departments to clear queries, escalate issues, and ensure that financial processes comply with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
The Reconciliation Clerk will undertake a variety of tasks to support financial accuracy and operational compliance, including:
- Auditing declarations from branches on the End of Days
- Performing TUV reconciliations
- Conducting ATM reconciliations
- Reconciling credit card transactions
- Performing Ithuba reconciliations
- Reconciling deposits and withdrawals
- Reconciling manual transactions
- Auditing receivables including credit card and other accounts
- Performing cash counts at branch level
- Conducting audits around paperwork and daily reconciliations
- Ensuring shortages are transposed onto recovery Masterfiles
- Escalating and following up on shortages weekly
- Collecting and analyzing financial data
- Establishing recommendations based on information collected
- Performing research and development as required
- Determining compliance with company policies and procedures
- Conducting stock counts and fixed asset counts
- Checking and reconciling tickets at branch level
- Reporting daily observations to relevant personnel
- Assisting branches and relevant departments to clear queries
- Reporting to management
- Reconciling Pastel accounts
- Completing ad hoc tasks and requests as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
