Learnership Overview
This Learnership offers the opportunity to complete a nationally recognised NC: Wealth Management qualification while gaining practical experience within the financial services industry. The role provides exposure to a variety of wealth management activities, including client servicing, claims administration, pre-sale underwriting, life benefits, retirement funds and new business processes. Through structured learning and hands-on workplace experience, learners will develop the skills, knowledge and industry understanding needed to build a successful career in financial services.
Responsibilities
- Complete the NC: Wealth Management NQF Level 5 learnership programme and associated coursework.
- Gain practical experience across key areas of the Wealth Management function.
- Support client servicing activities and assist with customer enquiries.
- Develop an understanding of life benefits, retirement funds and funeral policies.
- Assist with the administration of claims and underwriting processes.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure information is processed correctly.
- Build knowledge of financial services products, regulations and industry practices.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage learning objectives and workplace responsibilities effectively.
- Contribute positively to team activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Maths (Minimum Level 4 – 50%), English (Minimum Level 4 – 50%), Maths Literacy (Minimum Level 5 - 60%), and a second language (Minimum Level 4 – 50%).
- Not engaged in post Matric studies or formal employment.
- Not have completed any previous Learnership.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 30 years.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Basic computer skills, especially in MS Excel & MS Outlook.
- Only South African candidates by birth will be considered.
NB. An incomplete tertiary (financial) qualification would be advantageous.
